My name is Janette. But a lot of people call me Jinny too.
Growing up in rural Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, means that I am familiar with the complexities of identity, the personal being political and our need to feel like we belong.
My love for this work comes from a tender and nurturing acceptance of my own humanness and an appreciation for the complexities that come with being a person.
I am a trauma informed practitioner and I really believe that the therapeutic space can offer a chance to reflect and reconnect to a deeper sense of self. By deepening self awareness, we can expand our options for choice, resilience and empowerment.
